        Finance Council Minutes

                 FOR July 21st, 2010

Present: Voting members—Fr. Pete, Dominic Daniels,Gary Mikolajczyk, Lisa Sexsmith, Sandy Bishop

               Ex-Officio Members— Donna Haraty, Lisa Dirlam

Excused: Margaret Lewis, Bill Rokenbrod

Absent: Jim McKeown, Jim Locker

Guests: None  

The meeting was opened with  OLOV prayer.

Motion was made by Gary Mikolajczyk to accept the minutes for June, it was seconded by Sandy Bishop, and accepted by all council members present.

  Lisa Dirlm---Super Hero fund for the school is continuing to grow as pledges come in. One large pledge will be spread over next four months. Registration for next year is now up to 97, last year had 85 total. Still need money spent in July and August to have school’s final year end actual budget.     

 Donna Haraty---Is presently working on the 2010-2011 budgets for both the School and Parish. We reviewed what she had and they are looking good, should be ready for vote at next months meeting.  The actual budget for the parish fiscal year 2009-2010 ended with just over $29,500 in the good.

OLD BUSINESS-Another discussion was had about the amount of money the school owes the parish for teacher salaries at the end of the 2009 school year. Dominic will bring Donna any figures from past meeting to see if she can come up with a reasonable figure, for our next meeting.     

  NEW BUSINESS--- Money will be allocated in new budget for some repairs to the convent. Dominic mentioned that he has been on OLOV finance council since its inception, and St Ann’s finance council before that. He will be steeping down after the August meeting, but still working with the parish in other capacities.

Next Meeting will be Wednesday , August11th, 2010 at 7:00
